Unlike the average person, I usually enjoy my cardio time. There is something relaxing about clearing the mind and having nothing else that I can do. The only problem I face is that clearing the mind can often result in a pace comparable to dial-up (please tell me I’m not the only one who remembers this). This is where the perfect playlist can make or break your cardio time– or any other time in fitness, for that matter. If your music has the right beats per minute, the music can keep you on pace for the entire cardio session.
Cardio Playlist Options
There are a lot of option to choose from in your playlists, so I have made some lists of music that can help you maintain your pace, according to your music genre of choice. Some are easier than others to have the appropriate beats, so that as long as it keeps you moving, it could definitely be added to your cardio playlist.

You can use any of these songs to make a variety of playlists to keep your cardio interesting or you can combine all of them to make one epic playlist, like I’ve done. I’ve used Amazon Prime to create my playlists, since they allow you to skip as many songs as you like and without listening to any ads. The downside of Amazon Prime over Spotify is that you can’t start a radio on any artist, like you can do on Spotify. The possibilities for your cardio session are endless, but remember to match the pace of your walk/run/jog/HIIT with the pace of the music and just keep moving.
